These important folks volunteer to help make sure our teams get the credit they deserve for their hard work finding the answers to the 70 clue questions that will be revealed on Saturday, September 17, 2016. We recruit some of Cary’s major players – the folks that help make Cary the special place that it is. This year’s panel includes three Cary Town Council members, a Morrisville Town Council member, a retired Cary policeman, a current member of the Cary police department, a local historian and many others.
Our judges make the final decisions, and are experts in many different fields, from history and art to government and public works.
Here they are: the Cary Scavenger Hunt Judges!
Our Chief Judge is Joy Pike, who has served in this capacity for three years. If our teams have a question, or an answer is in dispute, they ask for Joy’s help to settle the issue.
Local Town Government
Each of these judges currently serve in town government. How cool for our teams to meet the folks that govern our town!
The Police Department
We have a current and a former member of the Cary Police Department working with us to keep everyone straight. Don’t mess with them!
Experts in Local Art
Cary is lucky to have so many pieces of public art placed around our town. many will be clues during the day. These judges know all about art.
Cary was incorporated in 1871 so there are many historical sites located throughout. These judges make it their business to know our history.
Cary is a town where people volunteer. In fact we have three non-profits associated with our event. These judges work tirelessly to help the people of Cary. We thank them for their service.
These wonderful Caryites have agreed to be a part of our event. In fact, many have served with us since 2011 when we held the Hunt at the Cary Arts Center before it was officially opened. They have fun meeting each team and hearing the stories that took place through out the day as they discovered clues.
You can still register your team – our site is open until 9 PM on Friday, September 16, 2016. What are you waiting for? Get a team and have the adventure of a lifetime!
